Occupation Therapist (0.7 FTE, maternity leave)

New Heights School & Learning Services runs a unique specialized program tailored to preschool age children (2.5 – 7 years old) with autism spectrum disorder, or have similar learning differences. New Heights Home & Community Support (HCS) is a play-based program that utilizes the strengths and interests of each child to address developmental goals. We value the uniqueness of each child and see the autistic child as not needing to be fixed but rather supported in their unique ways of perceiving the world. The HCS team works alongside parents teaching them how to support their autistic child’s needs, building resiliency for both the parent and child so that the family as a whole is successful in their day to day activities.
