Substitute Teacher (casual/on-call)
New Heights School & Learning Services runs a unique specialized program tailored to neurodivergent students with autism spectrum disorder, or with similar learning differences. New Heights is a play-based program that utilizes the strengths and interests of each student to address developmental goals. We are currently looking for Substitute Teachers (casual/on-call) to add to our roster for our school program (Gr K-12).
Qualifications:
- An active Alberta Teacher Certificate
- Experience working with neurodivergent children/youth/young adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to be self-directed, flexible, highly motivated and to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Availability during school hours during the school week
