Home and Community Support 4th Annual End of Summer BBQ

Every year, New Heights Home and Community Support hosts an End of Summer BBQ. We say farewell to families moving on from the program and we welcome new families joining the New Heights community. This year’s BBQ was on Monday, August 29 and we had a phenomenal turnout!

There were so many different activities for the kids! They could ride bikes and scooters, bounce in the bouncy castle, blow bubbles, paint beautiful creations, and more. The highlight of the BBQ was the pony rides in the parade square…and the cuddly baby bunnies! Special thanks to Sara Paterson from Three Hills, AB for bringing the animals out to New Heights.

Another special thanks goes to Gary Lepine, New Heights Board Chair and master BBQ-er, for cooking up hot dogs for everyone!

It was great to see families, kids, and HCS staff connecting with each other. What a great way to wrap up the summer!

On behalf of the entire HCS team, I want to thank everyone for coming to the BBQ and I wish you all a happy first week of school!
